Understanding refunds and subscription charges
This guide explains how refunds work in AnswerThePublic, what happens after a free trial ends, and what to expect from monthly, yearly, and Lifetime subscriptions.
Monthly and annual subscriptions
AnswerThePublic offers both monthly and annual subscription plans.
Monthly plans include a one-time 7-day free trial, giving you full access to the platform before your first payment.
Annual plans are charged immediately upon purchase and do not include a free trial.
For more details about how free trials work, refer to the dedicated article about free trials and billing.
Refund policy after the trial
The free trial is designed to give you time to fully evaluate AnswerThePublic before starting a paid subscription.
Once the paid billing period begins, subscription fees are generally non-refundable, as described in our Terms of Service.
To avoid unwanted charges, make sure to review and manage your subscription settings before the trial ends.
Canceling your subscription
Subscriptions can be canceled at any time from the Manage Account area inside AnswerThePublic.
After cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing cycle.
For step-by-step instructions, refer to the article How to Cancel or Delete Your AnswerThePublic Account.
If you need help reviewing your billing status or subscription activity, contact our support team through the Help button.
Lifetime plans
AnswerThePublic Lifetime plans are no longer available for purchase.
Existing Lifetime customers still retain access to the features and limits included in their original purchase.
Lifetime plans are non-refundable because they were originally sold as long-term upfront agreements.
If an existing Lifetime user wants to access newer features or different limits, they can subscribe to one of the current monthly or yearly plans at the latest pricing.
