Manage your subscription, billing, and account settings
Your account settings give you access to everything related to your subscription, billing, users, and account preferences.
You can access these settings at any time from the top menu inside AnswerThePublic.
Managing your account details
Inside the Account area, you'll find everything organized across seven tabs: Profile, Region & Language, Team Members, Plan & Billing, Credit Usage, API Access, and Password.
From here, you can update your personal information, set your region and language preferences, manage your team, review your subscription and billing details, track credit usage, access the API, and update your password, all in one place.
Profile
The Profile tab is where you manage your personal information. You can update your first and last name and the email address associated with your account.
This tab also includes the option to permanently delete your account. This action cannot be undone and will remove all your data.
Region & Language
You can choose your Default Report Region and Default Report Language from dropdown menus. These settings apply automatically whenever you run a new search.
Team Members
The Team Members tab is where you manage who has access to your workspace.
Your plan displays how many seats are available. for example, a Business plan supports up to 10 team members. You can invite new users by clicking + Add team member in the top right corner.
Managing roles and permissions
Each member is listed with their name, email, role (Admin or User), and the date they joined. You can edit roles or remove members at any time using the action icons.
Invited users
An Invited Users section at the bottom shows all pending and accepted invitations, including when the invite was sent and its current status.
One important detail: email addresses already associated with an active Free AnswerThePublic account cannot directly accept an invitation. In those cases, the existing Free account must be deleted first.
Team Members is available on Growth and Business plans. Starter plans do not include team access.
Plan & Billing
The Plan & Billing tab gives you a full overview of your current subscription. From here, you can see your active plan and billing interval, upgrade or cancel your subscription, manage your payment method, and update billing and tax details such as your address or VAT number. Past invoices are also listed here and can be viewed or downloaded at any time.
Credit Usage
The Credit Usage tab lets you track your monthly credits and resource quotas across AnswerThePublic. You'll see a summary of your total, used, and remaining Content Studio credits along with your reset date, a breakdown of platform usage by feature for the current month, and a full usage history log showing every action that consumed credits this cycle.
API Access
The API Access tab (currently in Alpha) allows workspace admins to enable API access and manage personal access tokens for integrating AnswerThePublic with external tools and systems.
Password
The Password tab is where you can update your login password. To make a change, enter your current password, followed by your new password, and confirm it. All three fields are required.
Switching between accounts
Some users may see more than one account available under the Manage Account menu inside AnswerThePublic.
This is more common with older accounts. In these cases, the same email address may be associated with both a Free and a subscribed account at the same time. Under the account list, subscribed accounts will display their subscription status, while others will appear as Free accounts.
You can switch between these accounts directly from the top menu to access the settings, subscription details, and data associated with each one.
An email address can only be associated with one active subscription at a time, but it may still have access to additional Free accounts under the same login.
