Manage your subscription, billing, and account settings
Your account settings give you access to everything related to your subscription, billing, users, and account preferences.
You can access these settings at any time from the top menu inside AnswerThePublic.
From there, you’ll be able to update your account information, manage billing details, switch between accounts, manage invited users, and control your plan settings in one place.
Managing your account details
Inside the Manage Account area, you can update your personal and subscription information whenever needed.
This includes changing your account email, updating your region or country, reviewing your subscription status, and managing billing information such as payment methods, VAT details, tax information, and billing addresses.
You can also download invoices directly from this section.
If your subscription changes over time, this is also where you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan. If needed, you can permanently delete your account from the same area.
Completing your account details
Some accounts may also display a Pending Account Details section.
This area helps personalize your experience by collecting information such as your role, company size, SEO experience level, and preferred workflow.
These details help tailor onboarding and recommendations inside AnswerThePublic and can be updated later at any time.
Switching between accounts
Some users may see more than one account available under the Manage menu inside AnswerThePublic.
This is more common with older accounts. In these cases, the same email address may be associated with both a Free and a subscribed account at the same time. Under the account list, subscribed accounts will display their subscription status, while others will appear as Free accounts.
You can switch between these accounts directly from the top menu to access the settings, subscription details, and data associated with each one.
An email address can only be associated with one active subscription at a time, but it may still have access to additional Free accounts under the same login.
Managing invited users and team access
Invited users are available on Growth and Business plans. Starter plans do not include team access.
If your subscription supports invited users, you can manage them from the Team Members section by clicking on Invite a Teammate.
Invited users receive an email with a link to create their credentials and access the subscription. Once added, all users share the subscription limits associated with the account, including searches and usage allowances.
You can also manage permissions from the Manage Users area, including granting Admin access or removing users from the account when needed.
One important detail is that email addresses already associated with an active Free AnswerThePublic account cannot directly accept an invitation. In these cases, the existing Free account must first be deleted before the invitation can be accepted.
