What is the Difference Between Account A and Account B?
Upon upgrading to the PRO version, the dashboard is enhanced to display both "Account A" and "Account B" in the drop-down menu.
- Account A may either be a free version or a PRO account, depending on the setup.
- Account B (PRO) is clearly labeled to indicate the upgraded subscription.
Selecting either account from the drop-down menu allows access to its respective details and functionalities. More details about the accounts can be found here: How to Navigate and Manage Your AnswerThePublic Account
Steps to Cancel the Subscription Plan
1. Access the "Account" section from the top menu and select "Account Settings".
2. In the Account panel, select the "Cancel Account" option in the Subscription section.
3. A pop-up message will appear. Fill in the required fields, then click the "Cancel Plan and Delete My Data" button.
4. Review the Dashboard details at the top of the pop-up. Once the subscription is canceled and the current cycle ends, this information will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
5. A final confirmation screen will appear. Check the three boxes, then click the "Cancel Plan and Delete My Data" button.
6. Before proceeding with the cancelation, a special offer for the Basic Lifetime plan will be displayed. To accept the offer, select "Get Lifetime Access". To continue with the account cancelation, choose "No Thanks". For more details about the Basic Lifetime plan limits, please check the article Basic Lifetime Plan
Important Notes on Cancelation
To avoid additional charges, it is necessary to cancel a paid subscription before the end of the current billing cycle.
If a subscription is canceled during an active billing period, the cancellation will take effect at the end of that period. Access to the subscription will remain available until the current monthly billing cycle concludes. After the cycle ends, the subscription will not be renewed, and no further charges will be incurred for the following month.
Canceling a Free Trial Before Expiration
To avoid any charges, the users should make sure to cancel the free trial before the next billing cycle. The free trial can be canceled by following the same steps outlined above for canceling a monthly subscription.
Reversing the Cancelation Decision
If the decision to cancel the subscription changes before the cancellation date, the cancellation can be undone to continue using AnswerThePublic Pro. Click the "I no longer want to cancel" button before the cancellation date. This option will no longer be available after the cancellation date.
Why Charges Persist After Account Cancelation?
Automated notices are sent out for overdue invoices. In case the proof of cancellation exists, please email support@answerthepublic.com with the following details:

How to Permanently Delete an Account?
To permanently delete an account, navigate to the profile in the top right corner and select "Account Settings" from the drop-down menu, then scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Delete My Account."
