AnswerThePublic is a comprehensive keyword tool that offers unique insights into search queries by showcasing the questions, prepositions, and comparisons people make around a specific keyword in search engines.
This article explores the Compare Data Feature, covering the following key points:
What Is the Compare Data Feature?
The Compare Data Feature in AnswerThePublic is a tool designed to allow users to compare results from two different reports. This feature enables a detailed analysis of the same term or topic across distinct contexts or time frames, providing deeper insights into trends, user behavior variations, and shifts in interest over time.
By using this feature, users can identify emerging trends, track shifting consumer sentiments, and adjust their strategies accordingly. It reveals how the same term is being searched for and discussed across different reports, offering a comprehensive understanding of audience behavior and preferences. This, in turn, allows users to tailor their marketing efforts and content strategies to better connect with their target audience.
Comparing data across multiple reports allows users to uncover subtle distinctions, variations, and shared trends in user behavior, allowing more informed decision-making and the development of more effective strategies.
How Does It Work?
It allows users to quickly see differences between results from multiple reports. To access this comparison report, users must first ensure that the Track Changes toggle is activated.
Here's how to use it:
1. Enable Track Changes: Go to Searches history and locate the Track Changes column. Next to each search term, there is a toggle that can be activated to track changes over time. This toggle must be ON to use the Compare Data Feature.
2. Access the Compare Section: Once the Track Changes toggle is activated for the desired keyword, select the report to compare and navigate to the compare section.
3. Select a Report Date: Choose the report date to compare from the available list or drop-down menu. The earliest date available will be the first time you search for that term.
The first date available to select in the time range will be the very first time you perform the search for that term.
In this example, there were 113 new suggestions for marketing between March 24th and July 15th of 2024. The new results will be highlighted in green, allowing to scan for new ideas quickly.
4. Export Data: Users can export the comparison data as a CSV file by clicking the "Download CSV" link at the top of the report.
